System requirements
- macOS on an Apple Silicon or Intel Mac (pick the matching build), or Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) for the Beta.
- Google Chrome installed. Fyslide uses it to render and export your slides.
- A license key to run the app (one key = one computer, Mac or Windows).
- An AI of your choice for the AI features (CLI, API key or Ollama).
Where your data lives
Everything you make stays on your computer:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Fyslide
Windows: %APPDATA%\Fyslide
The app contacts our server only to activate and re-check your license.
Google Chrome is required
Fyslide renders your slides with Google Chrome for pixel-perfect export. If Chrome is not installed, install it from google.com/chrome before you export.Install on Mac in six steps
- 1
Open the .dmg
Double-click the downloaded file. A window opens with the Fyslide icon and your Applications folder.
- 2
Move Fyslide to Applications
Drag the Fyslide icon onto the Applications folder. Run it from Applications, not from the disk image.
- 3
Eject the disk image
In Finder, eject “Fyslide” from the sidebar (or press ⌘ E). You can delete the .dmg afterwards.
- 4
First launch
Open Fyslide from Applications or Spotlight. macOS may ask whether you want to open an app downloaded from the internet; confirm with Open.
- 5
Activate your license
Enter your license key when the app asks for it. No key yet? Get one here.
- 6
Connect an AI
In Settings, connect a CLI, an API key or Ollama. See AI setup.
Windows (Beta)
The Windows version is a Beta for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). The installer is built and checked automatically (CI), but it has not been tested on real Windows hardware yet. The same license works on either platform, one computer at a time.
Windows may show a warning because the Beta is not code-signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. See the steps

- Google Chrome installed.
- A license key (the same one works on Mac).
