License
One Lifetime License, paid once, for one computer (Mac or Windows PC). Here is how activation, moving to another computer and offline use work.
The basics
- Free download, license required to run. The app asks for a key on first launch.
- 1 license = 1 computer. A key is active on one computer at a time, Mac or Windows (Beta).
- One-time payment. No subscription.
- Up to 3 deactivations per 12 months to move the license to another computer.
Activation
After purchase your key is shown on the confirmation page and emailed to you. Open Fyslide, paste the key and the app activates this computer. During activation the app sends our license server your key, a hashed machine ID (not the hardware ID itself) and your computer’s name, so you can recognize it in the portal.
Offline use
After activation Fyslide works offline. It re-checks the license from time to time when you are online. If it cannot reach the license server, it keeps working for a grace period of 60 days after the last successful check. Go online once within that time and the period starts again.
Moving to a new computer
- Open the license portal and enter your key.
- You see the computer it is active on. Click Deactivate this computer and confirm.
- Open Fyslide on the new computer and enter the same key.
Each deactivation counts against the limit of 3 per 12 months. The app on the old computer stops working until it is activated again. If you hit the limit because of a hardware failure or a similar emergency, write to support@fyslide.com.
Lost your key?
In the license portal, enter the email you bought with. If it matches a purchase, we send all your keys to that address.
Revocation
Keys that are shared or resold, or whose payment is charged back or disputed, can be revoked. See the Terms and EULA.
